Hi! I’m Jorie.

I’m a director of brand and communications, with a journalism degree from Boston University and a focus in the hospitality, tourism, and outdoor space.

I believe nothing beats a good story, well told. And for the past 14 years, I’ve done just that, helping brands like Hyatt, Groupon, and Inspirato tell their stories in a way that drives results and resonates deeply with their audiences.

As a creative leader and brand strategist, I specialize in wading through the noise to help brands define their unique voice and discover the most captivating way to speak to their customers. I think my secret superpower as a marketer is my customer-centric mindset—every word I write is with the audience in mind.

I’ve written, edited, and built strategy around every kind of deliverable, from quippy organic social copy and punchy web copy to video scripts, long-form editorial features, direct mail, UX copy, in-person signage, digital ad copy, magazine print ads, glossy brochures, blog posts, paid social, white papers, and buzzy emails that customers simply have to open. B2B, B2C, internal and executive comms. You name it, I've written it. (Ask me about the time I wrote brand copy for the Nasdaq billboard in Times Square.)

I’m a copyediting whiz and a grammar perfectionist. I can spot a typo a mile away—I’m absolutely no fun to sit next to while reading a restaurant menu.

As a people-first manager, I prioritize building meaningful relationships and fostering trust, empowering and supporting my team through collaboration and a shared vision for success.

Outside of my 9–5, you can find me exploring Colorado’s hiking trails with my husband, three small kids, and two dogs (go ahead and pass us, our caravan moves slooowly these days).
