Email is a primary communication form for Inspirato. Each week, we send targeted emails to tens of thousands of members and prospects. I am responsible for not only brainstorming relevant content topics and writing the email content, but also testing new strategies (shorter headlines, emojis in the subject lines, playful CTAs, gifs as header images) and tying every sentence we write back to the most urgent business objectives. It’s not enough for our emails to feature pretty travel photos—each email must provide value to the reader, differentiate Inspirato from other hospitality companies, and ultimately entice customers to join Inspirato or book more vacations with us.
